only few minutes of trying on.

-
non branded strap i got from thailand (mbk mall)
the rash is nothing serious, just some red marks which went off few minutes afterwards
-
Calf or alligator straps?
-
Calf. How genuine it is I'm not sure coz it was only rm50
Hehe

I have tried both Rios and Hirsch...seems to be no rashes issues...:D

I've had some rashes from OEM Seiko straps, from my last purchase. Perhaps it's due to residue from chemicals when treating the leather. It lasted perhaps a day or 2, and I persisted in wearing it. After a while, I think the residue or whatever that caused the rashes wears off, and its ok now.
It also depends on the sensitivity of your skin as well.

Chances are you are allergic to the chemical used in the production of the straps...
-
I have heard of people getting rashes from Ammo straps due to the gunpowder residue.
-
i thought of rubbing a layer of hand sanitiser on the inner part, wonder would that helps

I think the aftermarket strap has too much chemical residual. I don't think by applying sanitizer onto your before wearing the strap would help.
