Hi guys,
Joined MWF few weeks ago but could not find the member's intro area (must have looked with my wrist instead of my eyes :laugh:)
Anyways, proud owner of a Zenith Pilot Type 20, Graham Silverstone GMT Blue Racing, Tissot Moto GP 2008 (first watch bought using my salary ;D) and Guess Steel (Dad bought it for me back in 2000 :thumbsup:). Received a Tissot PRC for my wedding but misplaced it somehow, and still searching for it nevertheless :Praying:
I have been interested in fine timepieces for the past 2 years when I started my overseas assignment. Met with few colleagues who have the same interest (and owning few JLCs), and finally bought my first 'true watch' in March 14. Since I'm working in KLCC, I always drop by Sincere or Cortina at least once per week, to have a chat and obviously poisoning myself day in day out :Laughing_on_floor: :Laughing_on_floor:
Hoping to get more friends and input regarding fine timepieces and horology ;D

Welcome! to answer your question. there are few basic criteria to furfill
1) you must have indepth knowledge about various history of all major watch brands
2) you must understand various technologies used and their movements
3) you must be able to tell the genuine from the fake with relative ease.
4) you must know what is collectible
5) you must have deep pockets - to be able to build a respectable collections :Cheers:
