is that worth buying a tag huer?
heard a lot of review that tag isn't that good and being over priced?
how about the resell value? and which place can get a best discount for tag huer?
-
which model?
-
It's really up to you .... if you like Tag Heuer, just buy it. Everyone's definition of worth to buy is very different
I still have my Tag Heuer from 1999 until now ...
Tag Heuer resale value not that great ....
Best discount ? Look at pre-owned section ....

If you like it, then buy it. Cannot think of resale value.
Just run a simple test, if you sleep also keep thinking about it, then time to just buy it ;D

If you are new to watch collecting, hold back your Tag purchase for 1 month ( the longer the better). if you still think you like it as much, then go for it. DO NOT buy a TAG on impulse (especially buy new) as it will hurt you much more than some other watches. it happen for many collectors that for certain watches that once they thought they cant live without, only to be flipped in a matter of months.
One cant ignore that fact that resale value is an important factor in buying a watch. (unless money is of no issue) ;)

What an analogy!

Well, it depends on each individuals..if the watch sings for you then get it..I also have 2 Tag myself..if not then you may consider to top up another couple of thousand to get a pre owned sub.. :D

Don't buy the brand - buy the watch.........
-
I personally don't buy watch looking much at resale value. If you like buy/sell, a TAG may not be good for you. TAG calibre 1887 chrono is a good buy. If you can wait for few months, the newly manufacture calibre CH80 with 80hrs power reserve is nice. 4 models was just announced at Baselworld.

Go and try it on your wrist first, do some comparison with other brand and feel it yourself before you commit to buy it.
Good luck with your hunt!

Amen to that. Nevetheless, Tags are still easier to flip than ex-gfs.

And the financial loss is nothing compared to that with an ex-wife. :o

Thanks for all the suggestion.

Worth or not it is on you,as it will be strap unto your wrist...is it the brand you want or the watch?if u buy cause its your dreamwatch nobody are entitled to say otherwise, but still there are many brands out there that IMO is great with that price point, its important to compare it with another piece cause through this method u see clearly on the pros and cons

Totally right, if you keep on thinking about it. Please get it. Of course, resell value is not that good... but I dont think you going to sell it.. LOL.. So go with the feeling.

Yeah I got a Tag Carrera for my first watch. Resale value is pathetic so I just keep it. It's now sitting somewhere in the house.
Probably give it away instead of selling since the price is low. It's a nice and good watch though and was great for a first watch.
-
I would buy a tag used... I got mine used... and it's a good looking watch, no doubt, but don't expect the value to hold.... In the end, choose based on what suits you the best... watches are very much subjective...

I really like the Carrera chronograph line. As others have suggested, I would also recommend buying used.
