This was posted on Seiko's Facebook page. Its a teaser for Baselworld 2014, new model Seiko.
From the picture it looks like a Tuna does it not? ;)

Whats your take on it? Which model?

It's the SUN023. Not really a Tuna, but sort of a tuna. Kinetic GMT.
Seiko have some pretty awesome releases planned for Basel, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to post them anywhere :'(

Really? Cant seem to find anything online yet.
BTW u working for Seiko? ;D

I wish!
No, one of the biggest ADs is a member at the same private forum as me. He's posted some sneak previews.
But the SUN023 above is posted at the WUS Seiko forum.

I see, thanks for your feedback.

Seiko have a winner on their hands with this one IMO:

Probably my next Seiko.

This is true beauty , What's the case diameter ?

What's the case diameter ?
47 mm. Bigger than I'd normally like, but for a professional dive watch I suppose it is acceptable.

HEAPS of win from Seiko this year...
GS Hi-Beat GMT is extremely tasty.

New Astron is much smaller now (43 mm), they've crammed a chrono in there somehow, and IMO the styling is improved.

Quartz versions of GS Dater reissues are super-clean.

And some more pics of the kinetic GMT.

You're very welcome!

Not a quartz fan?
There are 3 spring drive versions of the Dater reissue as well, but they don't really interest me. I wouldn't be surprised if Seiko releases some auto versions, too. But I don't have a quartz dress watch, so these versions interest me the most. Plus, it's rare to see a GS with such minimal dial text.

A bit pricey for a quartz

A bit pricey for a quartz
I know what you mean. RRP is something like US$4k, when the standard GS quartz models are closer to US$2k. :o
You're paying a LOT for the exclusivity and the retro case!
I personally wouldn't pay anything like 4 grand for one, but if it is released later as a standard production model, I'll be keeping an eye out for a used one in a couple of years. I just love that stark dial and those fat rounded lugs.

Ya I was disappointed when I read the previews that the dress watches was gonna be in quartz. If it was an automatic I might just target one

That Kinetic 'Tuna' is a real beauty. I wonder when they would start appearing on shelves.

Email or call Thong Sia and ask, they can be quite helpful.

Seriously I didn't think I would lust after a quartz watch
