Hello everybody. It has been a while since I introduced myself. This is just a small news item that I thought it might be of some interest to this forum...
A watch that I made from a slice of the Moon has made it into Esquire Magazine Singapore (March edition). The article features 5 independent watchmakers and they even mentioned that I was born in Malaysia.
For details of that one-of-a-kind watch you can see it here:

I have another slice of the moon that I am developing into a watch at the moment along with my own titanium cases that I am machining myself. Stay tuned, this will be an exciting year.
Best regards,
Frank

As always anything is possible if the price is right. There are usually a few pieces large enough to make a watch from on the collector market worldwide but you can expect to pay $700USD per gram. It makes platinum seem like buying pewter!

Wow combining your rock collection with your watchmaking skills is genius.. May I know how much the watch sold for?
