Title: WHere can I fix my Seiko (other than Thong Sia)
Post by: Gilthoniel on February 25, 2014, 03:50:05 PM
Hey guys,

I have an old Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay (5J22) with a non-charging capacitor. I need to upgrade that capacitor to the new lithium ion battery which should get it back into shape.

Any place I can get it done without going to Thong Sia or is Thong Sia's service reasonably priced?

Cheers

i recently bought a seiko from a shop in penang and he told me they can change the capacitor and they said should be cheaper than Thong Sia if the warranty is over, but that shop is in Penang near Komtar  ;D

I know there's a sifu at Amcorp Mall who is good at repairing Seikos but I dont think he has the capacitor.

U can ask the sifu if he has the capacitor or not, if not u ask him the model number and u order the capacitor at Jules Borel online.

That u have to ask 1to12, i did that one with a sifu here in JB. Ask 1to12 for the name of the sifu. The online ordering part i can help guide you.

I know there's a sifu at Amcorp Mall who is good at repairing Seikos but I dont think he has the capacitor.
