what if the PVD cost more then your watch? doesn't make sense also right? but if i kena toto i don't mind buy a new daytona and PVD it :P

Cant imagine if we send the pvd lolex to RSC to repair. It will give them hard time to peel the dlc off and not to mention charge the user gadzillion ringgit for the cost :thumbsdown:

You don't have to worry about the "gadzillion" dollars. RSC will reject ur watch on the spot. :) They do not repair modified Rolex watches.

Right now, even if it cost $500 to PVD my sub with the highest quality, I won't do it. This is the only Sub I have and I can't afford to have it PVDed and later to find it unattractive. if TOTO kena me.. well u know the rest...:)

TH, when we go buy toto ;D maybe we kena together then can buy 2 brand new sub and send them to PVD it ;D

u all just missed the train last nite SG TOTO is SGD 3 million... :Laughing_on_floor:
No doubt RSC wnt service modified Rolex but how to justify modified watches?? if i got 1 or 2 parts been modified (out of 200 original parts) would they reject to service my watch? are those watchmaker are so "PRO" and able to spot out the after market parts??

like old 6694... think i once read up to 90% original parts is considered ori so they would honour it.
but anyway why is RSC service so important? any competent/reliable watchmaker can service a Rolex 3135 / 3130
that is unless u wanna maintain a complete service record to sell. also i don;t think it would command a premium also if you have a record unless also it's a rare vintage.
i don't think a 16610 would be rare at any foreseeable future. also a 16610 with complete service records would not command much of a premium unless it;s a safe queen.

Dennis u can't keep a secret la. How do u know the toto kena me yesterday?I'm trying to divert attetion :p
I can't say will or will not RSC find out if ur watch has been replaced by a few non original parts. I'm 100% they will reject a black Rolex :)

when 1 person hav 2 watches of d same kind n too much money, then doing this seems reasonable :P
