Depending on the price also...
I've tried various 9300 Speedmasters but haven't tried the DSOM.
Being stacked twin barrels, they sit really high on my wrist and I think I'll end up banging them against something. They're also really heavy.
If the Speedmaster II is slimmer then I'd go for that instead. Besides the looks really 'speaks' to 'old skool' part of me.

omg i like this old school design..will be on my wishlist.
hope the price will be affordable to most of us :Praying:

9300 itself not that heavy, no doubt is slightly heavier than previous eta, i've tried the new 9300 Ti speedy which is really light and fits well on small wrist :)

I just came back from France. Tried the grey dial mark II on my wrist but it doesn't sing to me at all. It looks better in the pic than in reality. no discount was given from the omega boutique.
Joseph - it's thicker than DSOTM.

Dear James,
thanks for your feedback.
If the Mk II is truly too thick then I'll pass

I have Mark II Orange - loving it as this watch are exemplary reissue.
My commments on Mark II is The dial is nearly a stroke-for-stroke remake from previous version, what's attract me as always the key features : - SuperLuminNova, Double coated anti reflect glass, upsize 1mm from 41.5mm to 42.5mm, Powered by In-House/ETA Hybrid and last but not least COSC.
At Baselworld in 2014, Omega reissued the Mark II, and today we look at the gray and orange “racing dial” version. They are coming out the Olympic 2016 Rio version . Its available in Omega KL Boutique with no very limited discount.

Watch is beautifully made with plentiful of reminiscences and a slight inch-up from the vintage… I was lucky enough to see and feel both the models in metal in the Pavillion Omega boutique, it wears a tad too large and heftily thick on my 6.5 in wrist… a pic to share with you guys ;=)
