Thank you all for your kind wishes…..
I've just reached home from the Japan trip late this evening so my apologies for not replying earlier.
This was a very hectic trip and I was out of the hotels/ryokans very early every morning and returning only at night after dinner.
With no data roaming plan, I could only access internet whenever I was back at the hotel and provided they had wifi.
On some days I was dead tired and didn't even bother logging on the net.
Surprisingly Japan being so advanced, not all hotels provide wifi as most Japanese use hi speed data plans.
David..being in Japan its hard to resist buying watches… ended up with 2 affordable Seikos and a Nomos..
Couldn't find any of the targeted watches on my list within the price range I had in mind..
Terrence, your wish for me came true…. I found a Nomos in Japan…a Malaysian buying a German watch in Japan.. now that's international for you...

A Nomos Zürich Worldtimer?? ;D
-
TJ, not a worldtimer
its a Nomos Tangomat GMT XL....
I tried on the Zurich Weltzeit but it didn't 'speak to me' on the wrist...
A bit too busy and the hands were not as appealing
Both models are dual time zone GMTs with the same Xi in-house calibre
Nomos has not developed a true worldtimer like the VC where all 24 different time zones can be seen simultaneously.
