Title: Epos watches
Post by: Devilzzz44 on November 19, 2013, 10:32:35 AM
Hi all MWF members and Sifus,

Just wanted to know whats your view on Epos watches, as what i can see from some of their collections like Pilot Chrono are using Valjoux 7750 and some other model are using Unitas 6498-2 hand winding and furthermore their finishing is superb. Please kindly share your views. Thanks.!

In my opinion, they are lacking their own DNA.
Most of their collection are copycat or homage to other makers.
However, not a bad choice for entry level Swiss watch.

imo, they somewhat are value for money.
but with all these micro brands around, they sure are in for a very tough fight.

I have an epos. I feel its good value for money. Most of their Movement is nicely decorated, not just plain. They also used blued screws, which i think is a nice touch. The brand is not too common so it'll be nice if you want something different from the masses.

Epos so far producing gd quality watches for its price positioning
Over the yrs they hv more series/line of watches than I can catch up
I still love some of their older models, using more vintage not so common movement watches...

I personally wld not mind an Epos.
Reasonable price entry point, well built and nicely decorated movement. Prefer their dressier range, looks classy.
