Just wondering what is that one watch in your entire collection that you can't live without...the one that fills you with joy every time you wear it and makes you proud that you have the exquisite taste (and means) to own it. :D
-
The most recent one I bought, as I must really like it to buy it when I already have other watches.

A close call between the Zenith Stratos Striking 10th and the Glashutte Panomaticlunar but decided that this is the one that touches my soul.

I believe the missions were carried out at night and the water would be dark and murky. As long as the minute markers are not luminous, having minute markers would not serve a purpose while diving to fix and setup the bombs. Anyway, these bombs were set to explode at a later time giving time for the divers time to get away. As such, down to the minute accuracy would not be a main concern.

Yes it is. And I thank you for that. What a wonderful way to share knowledge and to educate. Now we all know why some watches do not have minute markers, least it is for being fashionable. Now everyone grows and is better informed and no longer biased and judgemental.

No need to thank me. We are all here with the same purpose. ;)

I was thinking to get a bandr velcro to compensate for the small lug width , looks really nice!..

Inspite of all the new technology and engineering in watch movements, casings, bracelets and clasps, my favorite is still the humble TT DJ with the early 3135 movement, a twenty-plus years work horse still keeping time within COSC standards.

Wow - some serious watch porn, everybody! Like some of the others, very hard for me to pick just one favourite. I recently sold a bunch of watches to get down to 10, so really they are my 10 favourite watches. But I suppose if there has to be a top 3...
Seiko SBDX001
(http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z389/jason_recliner1/Seiko%20SBDX001%20Marinemaster%20300%20m/DSC_2437.jpg) (http://s1187.photobucket.com/user/jason_recliner1/media/Seiko%20SBDX001%20Marinemaster%20300%20m/DSC_2437.jpg.html)
Probably the first watch that I knew, from the first second I saw it, that I just had to have it. Sometimes meeting your hero can be a disappointment. Not this time - it's even better than I could have imagined. The ultimate dressy diver IMO.
Seiko SBGH001
(http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z389/jason_recliner1/Grand%20Seiko%20SBGH001/DSC_3398.jpg) (http://s1187.photobucket.com/user/jason_recliner1/media/Grand%20Seiko%20SBGH001/DSC_3398.jpg.html)
Can a watch be perfect? I don't know, but this one is DAMN close. Literally mirror polished, fit and finish is impossible to fault, hi-beat is part of Seiko's incredible history and heritage. And that dial... Oh my - time for a cold shower
Casio GS-1050
(http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z389/jason_recliner1/Casio%20GS-1050%20G-Shock%20Giez/DSC_3741.jpg) (http://s1187.photobucket.com/user/jason_recliner1/media/Casio%20GS-1050%20G-Shock%20Giez/DSC_3741.jpg.html)
A humble G-Shock? Surely it cannot compare to some of the world's finest watches. Wrong! Some watches may be jewellery, but other watches must be functional. And the Giez can do it all. Zillions of alarms, timers, timezones and modes, all wrapped up in a solid stainless steel case and then further protected by a resin shroud - this watch is one bad motherf##ker. Downhill MTB? Backpacking? Fieldwork in the desert? Crabbing in a swamp? No dramas. You will die looooooong before this guy does. And it also happend to look awsome. Seriously, what more do you want?

39mm is indeed a good size for the Jumbo as it sits better on the wrist than the new 41mm (unless you have really meaty wrist). Very nice piece bro! Not too sure about the 'low profile' part. :D
