Title: Whats the difference between Rolex Date & Rolex Explorer ?

Can anyone here tells me the difference between Rolex Date & Rolex Explorer ? Thanks in advance..

Generally:

Date vs Explorer

Date complication vs no date complication
Cyclops vs no cyclops
Dial available in many colours and design vs standard black dial with 3,6 and 9
Bracelet options vs standard oyster bracelet

is totally diff looking watch, even the hand one are sporty look one classic

i'd pick the explorer  :)

Also coz the explorer is iconic and has been seen on celebrity's wrists..Many women wear this

Generally, Rolex Date = dress watch, Rolex Explorer = sporty watch

because rolex shot themselves in the foot by not changing its design after so many years.
so ppl rather get vintage datejust than new ones, forcing the pre-owned prices of new ones to be much lower than it should.

One had a design that went up to mt everest and one is more like dressy watch ;D
