Title: Lemania 5100
Post by: TheHobbit on October 28, 2013, 05:38:15 PM
With Tutima going full in-house, we are seeing the last of the Lemania 5100. In fact, Tutima who is one of the biggest users of the Lemania 5100 is no longer using the movement in its NATO Chrono. Good bye good friend....

My Tutima NATO Chrono...

I love this watch very much even though its movement had some delrin aka plastic parts. It will be in my collection for long long time. I did not know about their new in house movement until i bump into this post.

No worries. We can see the subtle difference between your watch vs. mine.

1. At 6, mine says Germany while yours, German made
2. The different font for the brand "Tutima".
3. Position of the Tutima logo.

Anything else?

Your dial is the old skool T-dial while mine is luminova dial. Do you reckon any good watchmaker able to service this watch? The only thing i dont like about teh watch is the pusher which at time very hard to start stop teh chronograph. As in the pusher is not really connected to the movement  :Scolding:

I purposely wear this watch for bootcamp traning and it came out unharmed after going tru g-shock and water splash  ;D

Most of the german designed watch like sinn and porsche design 3h bund had the very siminar braclet style. Tutima ti bracelet is more chuncky than sinn or porsche design
