Title: AP ROO with lume
Post by: dpkong on October 23, 2013, 11:36:42 PM
Which of the 42mm steel non-LE AP Royal Oak offshore chrono models have lume?

I know the Navy doesn't. Taking a serious interest in the Panda and some say it has while some say no. Can owners here chip in with lume shots if they have it? Not those taken off the net but from your own watch.

Thanks!

Wear at night time cant really notice the lume. if totally dark room can see very weak lume, not sure is lume or the reflection.

I dun have LE ROO but only this basic rubber clad in steel.

Under broad daylight:

then use a torch to blast at it for 1 sec:

then u have a very bright lume...Yay..

but only lasts for seconds, and quickly weakens. in no time it will become barely noticeable.

so yes, it does have lume, but i think it is not up to the expected level for such a high-end sports watch...

Oh.. I like this one very much! PM me if you want to flip it!

It does seem AP is not famous for long lasting lume but some is better than none.

Have you tried the "shine a torch light on it" test?
