This is just a personal preferences of a good watch collection.
1. The Bell & Ross - BR 03-92 Heritage (owned)
The classic look of a Bell & Ross together with a awesome colour with military feel. This one is a keeper!!
2. Montblanc - Timewalker Chronograph (owned)
Although a watch expert would not recommend anyone to get a Mont Blanc as a watch but it's rose gold colour and design attracted me with a formal look it is good for work or leisure.
3. Officine Panerai - Luminor GMT 40mm PAM 00159 (owned)
This is neither the classic Panerai nor the classic 45mm, somehow i feel 40mm for Panerai is slowing edging out. I got it with a good price and decided to keep this as a leisure watch.
4. Rolex - Submariner 16610 with orange NATO straps (soon to own)
Recently saw a few post about NATO staps and instantly fell in love with the combination. In my opinion, get a lower range submariner and try out a few NATO straps. I'm still looking to buy a cheap submariner, feel free to bump me or msg me.
5. IWC - Portugese Chronograph (soon to own)
IWC Portugese has always been my dream watch. It has a very clean/neat look and it's still considered quite reasonable (price wise) to own.
6. Cartier - Santos (acquiring)
This is a very good brand to own. The maker started from watch making, but somehow their jewellery design gotten more popular than their watches. Still, they have very good house movement and it is somehow worth keeping.
7. Jaeger Le Coultre - Reverso (someday will be mine)
Talking about watch, how can you forget the almighty JLC !! Reverso is their signature and deemed one of the most highly sort after watch.
8. Audemars Piguet - Royal Oak (someday will be mine)
This particular watch combine the "macho"ness as well as the formal look, you have to feel it to appreciate it.
9. MB & F - HM4 (owning it in my dreams)
Speechless, i can only dream of it.
10. Hublot MP-05 LaFerrari (owning it in my dreams)
amazing amazing watch.
Hope you guys like it. I will try to post some unique unique watches next time. Peace out !

Wow... You seemed to have your plans all laid out...
But beware... there are always curveballs here and there...
Keep yourself focused and hopefully you can achieve all that.

Good choice on the inclusion of the Cartier on your list. It's a great brand that don't usually get a lot of discussion on this forum. Cartier is deeply steeped in horological history and is criminally overlooked by so many collectors IMHO.
I like your idea of a beater Submariner on a NATO or Zulu. If it's good enough for James Bond (Sean Connery version)....
:D
I personally think that 9 and 10 should remain in your dreams and use the $$$$ for (suggestion) a Vacheron Constantin and a A Lange & Sohn. Gimmick watches like 9 and 10 are too faddish, too ostentatiously pretentious for regular wear and after a few years you will get tired of them. They are like the outrageous fashion pieces you see on fashion show runways. Designed to show off design prowess and ingenuity but hardly practical for wear.
High end classic style watches with haute horological complications on the other hand are timeless... ;D
