I am fasinated with watches esp. the mechanical type and been doing a lot of window shopping on them but cannot afford one sadly..

Anyway looking forward to learn more from this forum and drool over watches here..

you could get the Seiko mechanical watch from below RM200! not a bad start  :D

And agreed, Seiko is a great way to start going into mechanical watches.

I am sure you know where to look for seikos in pg. along the pg road, (opp komtar) there's a few AD...

Welcome mate, start with seiko first if you have a tight budget…my 1st automatic self winding watches is seiko 5 cost less than RM 200 :thumbsup:

As for what's on my wrist, it's just a trusty Casio. I joined this forum so that I could learn and hopefully purchase a watch of substantial worth. Just looking at the watches on display at the high-end shops just makes me salivate.

Too bad my bank account does share the same enthusiasm, though!
