A very happy mid autumn festival to all...It was a quiet evening, dinner with the in laws...come home, put my boy to sleep...and had a little time to kill as my wifey was out of the country on a work trip...so I thought that I would take a pic and share with all the watch lovers out here, my little humble collection. The Rolex Air King on the top right belongs to my wifey btw... Comments are most welcome...have a great evening

nice! thanks for sharing

2 Rolexes, an IWC, Ball, Moonwatch and a Tissot as daily beater... You got all the bases covered... hehehe
-
Agree with Hanz, nice selection of watches. All bases covered.
-
Thanks guys. I have to say that the Tissot has served me the longest. The only quartz in the bunch, but tough as nails. Only needed one battery change so far over the course of 10 years. I also have a Casio G Shock which I will wear for tennis or swimming...I would like to add another watch to this little collection of mine, but my CFO (w.i.f.e.) has put an embargo on this idea of mine :Blue:. I had my eye on an Orient Diver, very nice watch...automatic and also tough as nails. One other watch that I have always wanted was a Seiko Diver or a GS somewhere in the near future. But unfortunately for me...sigh...
In any event, I was really fortunate to be introduced to this forum, and I am really enjoying my time here.

Thanks for sharing.
Wear them all in good health.

i feel ur ' cfo imposed embargo'... i really do..
-
Thank you Farhan, for feeling my pain... ;D, I do wish that she will change her mind soon. Btw, the IWC has a black dial, it is the AR on the surface of the crystal that makes it look "blue-ish".

Thanks guys, as much as I would like to get a bigger box to buy more watches, my CFO thinks that this is the limit, and I don't wanna disagree...happy wife=happy household :) Maybe I might flip and get different watches...we shall see...I can only hope to be able to purchase more without having to give any up...

Hi what's the black one with the leather strap.
What watch winder are you using, any good?
mine just went kaput.need to get one.
have a nice day.
-
NDTAAN the black one is a ball engineer master II diver gmt. It originally came with a black rubber strap. I only changed the strap to a brown leather one just to have a little "variety". I also have leather straps for the IWC and the Omega. Sometimes a little change makes the whole watch seems "brand new" :).
I don't have a watch winder, I try to rotate the watches every now and then, and if I don't wear it for over a week, I will let it sit for another week till I give it 30 turns of the crown. Sometimes when I gatal and have nothing better to do, I will just give it a quick manual wind every other day.

DC,Thanks for the reply.
Same here,i always like to mix and match different straps to the watch, although I've friends that says that I'm "spoiling" the originality
of the watch, but That's the way I am with watches.
I think a watch winder,at least one for your favourite watch where you would always wear is convenient.
Do you notice that some watches are very hard to manually wind,eg cartier santos-32mm.
I'll give you a tip on how I manually winds watches.
I get a rubber tube(like those for aquarium pumps),then I cut out about 30mm.
attache one end to the crown and just turn the turn the tube!
Of course you need to get different size tube for different crown.
I only do that with watches that has a small crown.

Thanks for sharing. I love the milgauss.
