Still experimenting and learning. Now trying out some interesting background.....
Marathon JSAR or Jumbo SAR (Search And Rescue) or also know as LGP (Le Grande Plongeur). Many names for 1 watch.....
Monster of a watch, 47 mm diameter, 55 mm lug to lug and 17 mm thick.

Is this the same one that you converted into an automatic movement?
Watch is huge at the specs you mentioned.

Yes sir. This is the one that was converted from quartz to automatic. The watch issued in 2007, don't know US or Canadian SAR.... :)

No sir. They are made in Germany and am currently testing and reviewing them. Not all are wood, some are ivory, some are acrylic and some are even over a hundred years old.
