Hi all...
Juz wondering if any1 can help me on dis..
I had bought a Samsung LED TV model : UA40F5000ARXXM 40" Series 5 LED.
Below is the Audio Output avail as per Samsung website specs :
Input & Output
Audio Out (Mini Jack) x 1ea
Component In (Y / Pb / Pr) x 1ea
Composite In (AV) x 1 (Common Use for Component Y) ea
Digital Audio Out (Optical) x 1ea
HDMI x 2ea
RF In (Terrestrial / Cable Input) x 1ea
USB x 1ea
I wanna get a speaker (either 2.1 or 5.1) but usually these speakers comes with 3.5mm jacks..
Juz wondering, if these jacks can fit in the "Audio Out (Mini Jack)"? I tried plugging a normal earphone jack into it, can't really go in.. Not sure if it really is not matching or I did not put "enough" pressure on it...
Need reply fast as 2day MAYBE goin PC-fair after work...

i'm not expert, but the jack only have two in size, small one like those PC speaker and big one usually on Mic or pro headphone
in this case i do believe it should fit, maybe can try pressure on it?
if you were to get 5.1 or above speaker, u need to use optic as normal TV only support 1 audio jack which works with 2.1 max :)

Today's LED Tv mostly comes with an optical audio output.
You can get an optical cable, hook up the tv with the speaker system, amp or home theater (Just make sure they have the optical input jack)

speakers as in stand alone speakers? speakers come with BluRay / DVD player set? speakers come with Receiver set?
my definition of speakers was connected thru cables and plugged into a Receiver
3.5mm jack usually is PC speaker
