Hi Chris,
No offence taken. Actually I was running low on battery, so I shot B&W to save juice. :D

Nice pictures danny! One of my favourite Sinn.
Have always wondered, why do the subdials have such a big difference in colour tone from the rest of the dial? Any particular reason for that? Or is it just the styling?
-
some designer wanted the chrono function to stand out...
so u can see some even use yellow, orange, red for the chrono hands....
but this sinn is on the sub dial....
some prefer to hide it....
one laco pilot chrono purposely darken the chrono hands n dial....
so i think just design

Hi Hush,
Chris is correct. The anthracite dial with black sub-dials is just a design element that Sinn chooses to incorporate in the diapal (diamond pallet - lube free escapement) version of their chronographs, simply to differentiate from the other 756 models with regular 7750 calibers which come with regular black dials.

When you say lube free escapement, does it mean it goes longer between service intervals?

danny, u may want to consider to organize a photo shooting workshop to teach us how to shoot photo… :Dancing_banana:
I doubt you profession now…. ;D

Hi Peter,
To be frank I am not aware of a longer service interval for Sinn Diapal watches. The diapal technology merely eliminates the need to lubricate the escapement. However there are many other parts of the mechanical movement which also require lubrication. Hence I believe the recommended service interval remains the same even for Diapal watches (but I may be mistaken on this point).
With the traditional Swiss lever escapement, as the lube oil ages, the accuracy of the watch suffers. The Diapal technology serves to enhance the long term accuracy of the watch by mitigating the adverse effects of aging lubricating oil.

Hi Dennis,
I'm afraid I still have a lot to learn about watch photography so I cannot presume to be able to host a workshop... Let's all share our experience next time. By the way I really am an Engineer, like you.
