Hi all,

Please to share my Bape Daytona Type 3 Bapex.

I brought from Singapore, because Malaysia don't have.

Seems like Bape is making homages to all kinds of Rolexes.
I have seen this in person.
Pretty well made... suspected manufactured in China though (is there anything that isn't these days?)

As for the Bapex Daytona, I would guess it's on a quartz movement.

Are the photographs yours or stock photographs? Don't know about the Bapex Rolex homage, but I do know the Bape Casio G-Shock collaboration are fetching some serious cash on the secondary market.

Made by Human was intended to mean hand-made/assembled (similarly marketed by Swiss),

A Bathing Ape (BAPE) is a Japanese streetwear label that has been around for years and years (some of you here, I am sure, are familiar with them). I've bought some of their clothing in the past (mostly tees), but have never ever agreed with two of their products - sneakers and watches; both which are blatant rip-offs.

Anyway, the BAPEX pieces are not cheap; I'd take a Seiko any time of the day.

BAPE = Bathing APE

BAPEX is just their line of timepieces. You can have a look at their products here (http://us.bape.com/collections/types?q=GOODS). Worse yet are their line up of footwear (http://us.bape.com/collections/types?q=SHOES)(!).

Nigo, founder of BAPE also co-founded BBC (Billionaire Boys Club) together with Pharrel Williams.

After Bathing Ape went bust and sold to the HK group IT, they retained Nigo as the "creative director"... now it's over. Nigo ain't even at Bape no more.
Now he started a new brand "Human Made"
Don't think he can recreate the success of Bape again.
And I do agree that Bape designs are mostly rip offs.
Adidas Superstars and Nike Air Forces with a star? Damn... that's creative.

But let's switch back to the Bapex Daytona.
The movement automatic or quartz?

thats a auto movement but the chrono cant function :'(i buy it also because of nigo ;D

Tissot manage to put in a fully working quartz chronograph movement, a swiss made one in fact, for less money.
