That's a nice looking Daytona
Thanks dpkong!
I have it on a white Rubber B now. Think it’s looks sportier and classy at the same time! Didn’t plan on getting this. Walked in one day to say Hello to see my AD and he asked if I was interested in a Daytona! Left the shop with it

Lucky indeed.. so all those people who say you can't get a sport ROLEX at ADs ....

Personally, I think it should stay on the bracelet.

Agree with the bracelet. Will definitely have it back to the bracelet when I’m a little older. Maybe when I’m 50 in 2yrs!

My favourite is the MOP Daytona. Besides that, I bought the limited M S Dhoni from Panerai, the Explorer, IWC Portugieser 2020 version and now awaiting the Omega Snoopy from Spain (1st on waiting list at one of the shops there) the Snoopy might be a 2021 collection favourite. Was lucky to have bought both Rolexes from AD

All that in a year. Sounds like you had a good haul and a busy but fun time this year. Congratulations on scoring two pieces from the AD.

#2. Looking to buy anything in December?

Nowadays, it's not what you want to buy but what is available..

I think this will be the last watch for 2020 and as usual, the latest is always the favourite.

As it turned out, one month is a long time, especially for December when I surfed more. So I busted my budget and have an incoming. Will share pic when I arrived
The incoming watches are pushed to 2021. I guess I am just gonna enjoy what I have for the next few days.

#1. What's your favourite watch purchase in 2020?

Bought a 116710BLNR right after MCO via grey at a very reasonable price. Absolutely love that watch.

#2. Looking to buy anything in December?

Went crazy searching for a 126710BLRO - had a thread about buying it via a private seller overseas, eventually had a bank transfer complication and got my money back.

Couldn't shake off the desire of getting it and eventually bought via a grey dealer here in Malaysia. Absolutely loved it too, although the price is real steep.

#3. Wishlist for 2021?

Nope... no more... (at least for a long while).

On another platform, I've seen a lot of #NWA (new watch alert) posts lately from people who were picking up watches from ROLEX AD so am wondering if that means more watches are available at retail price.

Likely they have just been waiting and it is their turn. Everyone too eager to show their allocation so it looks like more watches are available.

That Dan Henry is a beauty. Got one myself for Xmas, same gilt dial with brown strap.

Replying to my old thread.
#1. My favourite is also my latest purchase, a black dial Omega SM 300 in rubber

I didn't get to shop much in 2020 and I get the "no stock" reply all the time when come to Rolex, Tudor, even Cartier and Grand Seiko. So I did a lot of online shopping and purchased an unprecedented amount of quartz, here's my quartz family pic, all purchased this year.

#2. I have no plan to buy new watches in December, unless I got a call from AD for, ..... Well, we can always hope Santa will drop by with a ticket to jump the "queue"

#3. For 2021, I am looking forward to add a Rolex Sub, or some new LE from Blancpain
