Stowa Buying Experience
« on: October 29, 2014, 09:56:59 AM »
Hi all,

I am looking to pull the trigger on a Stowa (or maybe two, hehe) soon.

Am abut concerned about buying such a big ticket (to me la) online without seeing it. Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but I was wondering if anyone can share their experience, positive or negative on buying a Stowa online, e.g. order, delivery to Malaysia, customs etc?

Also, when we pay to Stowa, it's without VAT rite? Other than delivery charges, any other taxes etc?

Thank you very much

Never heard any problem from buying Stowa online.
Yes, we pay without VAT price. The only cost we incur is the delivery charge.
No tax for watch in Malaysia until 1 April 2015.

Depending on budget.

If its tight, get the flieger range. Or Antea. Or Marine Original.

If its loose, go for Testaf. Or Marine Chronograph.

So I'd say, go thru it if you can wait. Its possible by the time your watch is ready, it'll be time for GST.

I have bought a Stowa watch 3 years ago. Packaging is excellent and they delivered my watch within 2 weeks.  :Dancing_banana:

Bought my first Stowa pre-owned but unworn from a guy in Australia. It's a Stowa Antea KS. Was fascinated by the clean and symmetrical dial. Since then seldom wear it. Only on special occasions.
