SEIKO SARB033/035 Still worth the current price?
« on: October 16, 2021, 05:52:41 PM »
I bought both SARB 033 and 035 from Japan in 2017 from BIC Camera store for Rm1050 each. Recently checking through local sites, was shocked to see the used selling for 2.2-2.6K. A brand new one is about 3.6K. Still worth buying this entry level watch at such w premium price?

It was the king of value at it’s original price point. At current prices, not so much anymore. Would I pay 3.6k for one? Highly unlikely.

I've the same thought as you...for over a 3K price point I'll look for a used SARX series instead. Much better finishing and the snowflake dial is just out of this world...

For so called "market rate", doesn't a Tissot PRX make much more sense? Much better executed in almost every aspect, imo.
