Not really a big fan of handphones, as long as it can call, send sms and calender..I am satisfied :Jumping: All my friends are just going crazy over apples and berries, but their poison did not infect me. The only mobile phone i am waiting for will be this

the rotor helps you charge the battery, thanks to the kinetic energy developed by the watch’s moving rotor

I really thought that's purely for decoration purposes ;D and I was just joking about the rotor :P

Yea i thought it was for decoration purposes. Even if it generates electrical power, is it enuf to power the phone or just the time :)
-
good question.. LOL
well kudos to the sweet technology of the automatic time piece.
-
i wonder how well you charge with the phone sit in your pocket!
its not cheap right? any1 know the retail price?
-
I am interested to know the retail price too
-
I think it will be expensive...There is a brand start with "V" (can't remember the name) selling above 10K and some with diamonds more then 20K.... it's no longer just a phone but a accessory/jewelry!
-
I think that phone gonna be heavy.
Datuks will surely carry them though haha ;D
-

Perhaps it is not for the pocket, but wear on the wrist. ?? ???

The technology looks very similar to Seiko's kinetic watches. Wonder whether Seiko is getting any royalty from UN, or maybe the patent's already expired.

Tag Heuer finally announced their luxurious mobile officially. Called the Tag Heuer Meridiist, is a luxurious fashionable masterpiece that will match perfectly with the Tag Heuer timepieces.
Tag Heuer Meridiist is assembled from 430 components, constructed from watch-making 316L corrosion resistant steel, covered by a pair of unscratchable 60.5 carat sapphire crystal glass.
The Tag Heuer Meridiist is packed with a powerful battery promising 672 hours of standby time (28 days) and 7 hours of talktime.
The Tag Heuer Meridiist is also features a 2 megapixel snapper, 1.9? QVGA color display and a 96×76 pixel secondary OLED display which is located on top of the phone, used to display the current time (Swiss precision, guys. No doubt about it.) and also display the incoming call ID.
Available in few version on the back panel — plastic, steel, leather, etc — This Tag Heuer Meridiist is obviously a luxury piece instead of a feature packed device.
For your information, this luxury phone was actually produced by a French company called Modelabs, which also produced the Levi’s phone.
The Tag Heuer Meridiist will be sold in the selected Jewelry & Watch stores, and ofcourse in the Tag Heuer Boutiques.
