Ivan,

Looks like a 7002. Can you share where u got the bezel and nato strap?

If I'm not mistaken that's not a 7002. It's a SKX011. Quite hard to find in KL.

mAN,

There you go

Ohhh, you mean the yellow hands? I thought you're talking about the dial.  :-[ My bad.

Nice one you have there and it's great to know that there are others who have also got it , but I rarely saw this model being shown around. Any idea as to why?

I think this model does not come with a yellow dial.AFAIK,there's white, black and blue  dials

Here's my latest diver

Sorting out the watch boxes and decided to take some quick group shoots of the family. Unfortunately a few family members are still in the Philippines and the Land of the Rising Sun getting some repairs done and will not see those leaving soon.

Some of the members will be shipped out to new owners next week. Some are still looking for new owners. Some will remain.

Only one in the group shots was bought more than a year ago. The other 18 watches only joined the family since April this year.  :P

Thank goodness my trigger happy days are slowly coming to an end and I sense my interest in watches is slowly shifting towards a new direction, or perhaps rather I'm finally realizing my true calling.  :Praying:

Meet the family.

Cheers!

Superb!!! Great collection bro

Had my first visit to the Amcorp Mall flea market today (no thanks to Broleo for the unwanted information ). As I can no longer afford expensive Swiss-made watches (at least I keep telling myself that fact :Praying:), the only pieces that I could lay my hands onto are the Seikos. Hence this 7002-7001:

It comes with this rubber strap.

As I'm not that keen on a rubber strap, I put it on a Nato:

The other piece that I brought back home is this 6139-6005. I know it's not a diver as the thread title suggests, but post it here nonetheless as I'm too lazy to start another thread. If I'm not mistaken, Scottchung also got the same piece albeit a lil' bit different.

Is the white inner bezel an aftermarket as it's said that the gold-coloured dial originally came with gold-coloured inner bezel?

 ... like this one?

I look at the back case, and it's written 688172. Does it mean that it's manufactured in 1972?

Did a little research and found this:

Nice pepsi you got there bro.

The serial number: 688172
1st number is the production year
2nd is the month
   Jan-Nov (1-9). Oct-Dec (O=Oct, N=Nov, D=Dec)
Four last digit is the watch production number

So, the watch production is
1976
August
8172 (production)

fistball,

Is there a possibility that your post has been wrongly parked? I note that there's another thread on Chong Wei's watch.

This is mine...6309-7040 from 1980. Fully restored (case refinish, AR sapphire crystal, movement service, gaskets etc) but with a subtle custom (red tip on seconds, blue/green lume). Good to go for another 30 years!

Photos sent to me from the restorer when it was done, will get a wrist shot at some point

I've been to your blog, and if that's rookie, then I'm an unborn. ;D

BTW, had a look at your Seiko collection and found that a 6139 is still missing. Don't fancy it huh?

The restorer did a fantastic job on your watch. Do you have any pics of the watch in its original state, before restoration?
It will make a nice comparison I think.

Thanks guys....I would love to have a restored 6105 or Rally...but hard to get one at a decent price to make it worthwhile  :-\

Anyway, this is how it looked before, in need of some TLC

Thanks Bezelnut.  I love Rolex and Seiko divers, I think they are the best mechanical dive watches out there, but I an't afford to collect Rolex!
