I personally owned a White dial 216570 but flipped it after few months where I getting bored with it. Perhaps black dial will stay longer. As usual, buy the 1 u like the most.

Practically it is more easy to read time from black dial rather than white dial.
But being the only Rolex white sport watch. It's unique and I still remember when I read its national geography magazine advertisements about 30yrs ago, it was really meant for explorer in Artic, Antarctica , and Mountain adventure.

So many other models in black dial. This one is beautiful in white.

Both?

White for me. That's what makes the nickname Polar.

I would prefer black dial, easier to match.

Black is rather safe and common. White is unique

White dial is unique because most Rolex dials are black, I would go for white dial personally.

My vote goes to white

in the same dilemma too, would go for white with pin hole and sel

Back then I used to love black dials, however recently after searching and finally decided to purchase the 16570 I went for the white dial and I absolutely love it. The E2 IMHO is best with the white dial as it is easily legible in the dark and the RED hand pops in contrast.

Not sure if you heard of this but in Cantonese a white rolex is not a good thing (??)
That being said I still prefer the white face

Black in 40mm, White in 42mm for me! Might say the opposite tomorrow. Just to say that you cannot go wrong with either.

i have the white and i personally feel that is goes below the radar better.....so i wear it as my travel watch.

IMHO. 16570 White. 216570 Black. 40mm white makes it looks a bit larger than life. 42mm black makes it look sleek.
-
Back, white is too simple

Black would be nicer and as black always be the classic colour

I'll put my vote for black dial. Black has more "sporty" look to it
