Eyeing on BB58 too, perfect size for small wrist like me.
Some said BB58 have vintage submariner vibe in term of size.

+1 for the BB58, great size and wearability, on strap feels amazingly vintage, perfect for my 6" wrist :Laughing_on_floor:

Does the black Bay retain its value over time?

I think only certain rare models will retain or even appreciate, like the ETA BB Black, Harrods BB Green, Bucherer BB Bronze Blue. But now secondary price of the GMT is crazy.

Just got this baby during the weekend and swapped out the excellent steel bracelet for leather. Loving the versatility.

Having been a Tudor fan since the BBB came out and having the chance to add quite a few pieces over the years, I find that their most versatile piece todate could be the GMT. And coupled with the way the Tudor pieces tend to depreciate out of showroom, it was refreshing to finally have a Tudor that could go at a premium like its elder sibling

Was thinking if Tudor could issue a 2 tone Root Beer or Bronze GMT next year?

I really wish tudor will start producing the BBs in 40mm and thinner, making them generally more elegant even if they are arguably meant to be utilitarian.

Love my Harrods Tudor - suits people with bigger wrists. BB58 is a nice watch but 39mm and thinner, personally I think it suits people with smaller wrists. The new chrono S&G is also very nice. GMT goes without saying.

Not sure about others, but from my personal experience I did not have to wait too long for the so-call 'hot' models.

For the GMT, I placed my name on the list with several ADs for the metal bracelet model.  Got the first call about 2 months after.  However, I was outstation when I received the call and could not make it back to KL on time.  Had to let that go. The second call from a different AD came about 2 weeks after that.

For the BB Bronze, got the call after 2 weeks from 2 different ADs.

You mind share which AD ? I’m still waiting on my GMT, However, i felt like the rivet on bracelet is weird. I opt leather on my BB58, I’m still thinking should I just get a leather one so I can get it earlier..

Most ADs will have a BB58/GMT in stock. Just depends on whether can convince them to sell. I’m speaking from my own experience of course.
