I would advise exercising great caution in trading valuable items online - check on the reputation/reviews of the buyer (or seller) on Chrono24. From personal experience, 3 years ago, I wanted to buy an AP ROO and found an advertised new piece at a very reasonable price from a shop in Mayfair, London. We corresponded via email and confirmed the price and they stated the watch was available and in stock at their shop - but my intention was to personally buy the watch at the shop as I was going to the UK in a week's time. When I informed the shop I preferred to buy the watch at the shop than via shipping, they no longer replied to my email. Nonetheless, when I arrived in London, I visited the address of the shop thinking I should still be able to buy the watch - but they said they would have to order the watch and it would take 2 weeks to arrive. As my trip was only for 7 days, it meant they would have to ship. As I have family in London, I instructed the shop to call them when the watch arrives and placed a deposit. In summary, the watch never arrived and it took my family member almost 6 months of waiting and then chasing for a refund the deposit. So, it is advisable to buy or sell in person.
