Donald, this is the AP model I really like with the contrast sub dials. Congrats

Thanks Alvin!

Sadly, it's not one of the more popular dials. It was a tense debate between this and the Safari but somehow this one won. Once the AP bug hits, it's bad. Now eyeing the Panda...  :HammerHead:

Enkidu, you're correct about the date! Can count on you not just being wise, but also sharp. This monster is custom retrofit with the 4R36 movement.

This one for the casual weekend.

This monster is custom retrofit with the 4R36 movement.

Did you have to make any alteration when swapping the original Cal. 7S36 with the Cal. 4R36? Maybe you should share your story on how you did it, including from where you got the Cal.4R36!! Good job, man!!!

Yeah, I share the same sentiments. Been wanting to wear a more "classic size" lately. Maybe it's because it's more comfortable and age is catching up. Just want to wear something more timeless.

Anyway here's today's wrist shot. All dark and sombre for a weekend work day.

Enkidu, you seem to give me lotsa credit for this. In reality, I'm no watchmaker. This is the great work of Rob (monsterwatches) who modifies many Seikos. He swapped the 4R36 from a brand new Monster SRP315. Even switched the crown to 'S' type and to sapphire glass. And beadblasted too.
This monster is custom retrofit with the 4R36 movement.

No, the original is a normal looking steel bracelet. This one is custom made by Dstrap to match the snow monster.

Jos, he doesn't make many due to limited original parts availability. I will keep you posted via pm.
