Nice. Not really the same, it is a destro, 2 liner, sandwich dial. The old destro was a luminor marina, i.e. has the seconds hands on a sub dial. Actually the PAM00219 is a modern interpretation of the rarest Panerai, the original Destro, which was called Radiomir. Of course on the original, the crown lever was upside down.

There is also a (unconfirmed) 5218-201A logo destro.

Nice PAM219 scott and great explanation hobbit, i sometimes wonder if you have a encyclopedia next to you :)

anyway, i received this today, fresh from the boutique.
ordered it for a friend, and now i feel heavy hearted to pass it to him ...
beautiful case, doesn't feel thick anymore like the PAM127/217/368, the transitional case makes it feel like a radiomir hybrid.
much more wearable for small wrist like mine, and the plexi and dial color does improve everything. only thing is the "shorter" hands.

Nolah, I only know bits here and there.

Nice PAM00372. I have my name on the list but I don't think I will pick it up. There are a few things that does not do it for me. The PAM engraving between the lugs, the yellow font of the 'Panerai' and 'Luminor', like you highlighted the 'shorter hands' and of course the price. If this represent where Panerai is going, as this could be the new base, they really got to get their act right.
