dsiewmy,

Like you said, I 'have' got everything covered. The tritium is covered by the PAM00243I. As for the 47 mm, I have tried them and I cannot carry them. I find them to big and top heavy (also expensive, being the main reason  ;D ). I would like to get a Destro and would love a PVD, but the PVD is way out of my price range and budget. So even if I add to the collection, it would be a PAM00219.

In saying that, I am 'leaving' as I tire of the hunt. Don't really want to play the game anymore.  :)

Try Amazon...way cheaper even to have it sent over from US.

not sure about MY but i use ComGateWay services in SG to consolidate all my US purchases and save on delivery expenses.

That book and The Rolex Report is a very good reference guide.

This is bought at Kinokuniya. I'm not too sure whether you'd get it from any other local stores. Even I was lucky because Kino had actually stopped bringing one when I asked them a few weeks ago. So when I visited them last Saturday, I was surprised there's one copy (the only copy) on the shelves, so I wasted no time. ;D

I bought my Rolex Report via Amazon, because it's not available locally.

Scott,

Nice. Not really the same, it is a destro, 2 liner, sandwich dial. The old destro was a luminor marina, i.e. has the seconds hands on a sub dial. Actually the PAM00219 is a modern interpretation of the rarest Panerai, the original Destro, which was called Radiomir. Of course on the original, the crown lever was upside down.

There is also a (unconfirmed) 5218-201A logo destro.

Nice PAM219 scott and great explanation hobbit, i sometimes wonder if you have a encyclopedia next to you :)

anyway, i received this today, fresh from the boutique.
ordered it for a friend, and now i feel heavy hearted to pass it to him ...
beautiful case, doesn't feel thick anymore like the PAM127/217/368, the transitional case makes it feel like a radiomir hybrid.
much more wearable for small wrist like mine, and the plexi and dial color does improve everything. only thing is the "shorter" hands.
