Is that the latest 1950's series from James? How does it wears? I thought they dont have ready stock. i.e 15-20 days waiting period.

Errrr very hard to answer this question without implicating some people.......

It wears very comfortable and the photograph does not do it justice. I love the 'dirty' edges and the patina that is developing. I basically wear it even when washing my hands, so I think that 'helps' to develop the ageing process. I would love it if it was a tad darker, but I was told it will naturally get darker.

Hobbit,
How's the overall built quality of your Magrette? It has some Anonimo semblance. Me likely it

GlySinn,

For what it cost, I have to say that it offers one the best value for money watch available in the market. It does show the big boys that it does not have to cost an arm and a leg to have a bronze case watch. I like it, more so since it is fitted out with a Moyota movement which can be hand wound (as I like to wind my watches). The overall quality is good, but the lume is not so good, especially the dial. But hey, it is not a diver's watch so .....

Hey? There is where the strap went.  :o must talk to Donald about this.....  ;D

I have the same strap on order and can't wait to get it. How does the strap wear? Comfy? Did you get the 'extra' thingy with it?

Get the 74, it is more representative I guess as the 3 is hardly seen and was used on a compass. I will be changing it out once I get my Simona.

:D They'll deny knowing me, Donald and Caroline that is.. I've been disavowed...  :Laughing_on_floor:

At first it wears a bit thick, to my liking that is. But after a week++ wearing it, I love the supplenest and hoping for more character as it ages properly. The ecru stiching compliments the strap nicely and i loovee that the straps showing several color tones. At the price point and quality to me its worth buying. Oh ya..i bought mine before the thingy was offered..  :-\

Simona? I am also waiting for my green sharkie..you went for the Alcatraz?

Yeah I got the Heroic for 'THE' Pam......  :Praying:

I should get it sometime next week, the strap not the watch. Busy week next week as I will be checking in with James and also George (of the happy Giant fame). A planned trip up north has been rescheduled and yes, I need to PM someone as one of our members will be in Taiwan next week.

Yeah I finally got my Simona (Alcatraz). That purple delivery boys 'screwed' up the delivery, imagine, Italy - France - China - Philippines - Taiwan. It is currently fitted on one of my all time favourite Panerai, the PAM00092.

I think we better take this conversation to the strap thread least we 'kena' scolding by our mods.  ;D
