Which tires gave you best driving experience?

I believe all of you are very particular while choosing a good tyre. Can let me know which brand of tired gave you the most wonderful driving experience in term of comfortable, safety, stability, longevity and silent for luxury passenger such as Honda Accord, Civic, Toyota Camry, Altis, Nissan Teana, Mercedes C, E Class, BMW 3 Series, Lexus LS or Mazda 6 . Will be appreciate if you state your reason of choosing that brand.

i'm using michelin PS3.
as long as it grips well enough in rain, then ok for me.

i am using falken since i have got my car since last 2 yrs until now. it works well all the time so i definitely will continue using it. although the tire price is a lil bit expensive for me, but i definitely willing to pay higher price for my safety purposes.

agreed with you. i'm using Michelin Primacy 3ST is because of it's safety also..it can brek 3meters shorter compared to normal tyres on wet road and it is more silent, so that when my car has produced any sound, i can sense there is some problem and can send to mechanical faster. It's more friendly user. http://www.michelin.com.my/Products-Services/Car-SUV-LT/passenger_car/size.html?summer=Primacy%203%20ST can visit here to view it yourself

I've used Michelin Pilot Sport, Goodyear Eagle F1, Continental CSC3, Bridgestone, Yokohama - all with varying degree of satisfaction for various cars. I'm currently on Bridgestone runflats and i'm happy with it.

this youtube video right, is from a taiwanese reviewer, end of this clip, he did mention about Michelin Primacy 3ST is worse than other brand tires.
but from my point of views lah, this tire is kind new in the market, not much reviews i can find for it yet.. so not really dare to try.

After running out my RFTs I swapped to Goodyear's Eagle F1 Asymetric 2 or Asy 2 in short.. Awesome grip, very quiet and highly recommended!

I second that... The Eagly F1 Asy 2 indeed provide good grip without sacrificing on comfort..

I've not really had good experiences with them. Maybe the earlier batches were better.Grip and comfort is good but I have problems getting them balances. Had all 4 changed by GY but with not much difference. Don't know if this is specific to the ones I'm running on - 215/45/17 thought. A friend using 225s didn't have this problem.

Am running on the exact specs as yours for the past 2 years by now and thankfully have no balancing issues..  :D Maybe it is more of a batch issue than anything else..

I think it depends on the type of car you have.

I've got a Volvo 940 on Continental and it's great, but that wasn't the case when I tried it on my old (now sold) Ford Laser.

I guess Conti's are better on heavier cars.

My other car is the Kia Forte with Yokohama A-drive & it's road holding & grip on wet roads gives me confidence.

The other tire I've tried was the Bridgestone Turanza.  It's nice but after about 20% wear it became very hard but lasting.

Take care, Ciao!

IMHO.,I think the much neglected are the nearer to home alternative like the GT HPY (Made in Indonesia) tires.
These tires are pretty good, and definitely rated the best bang for the monies spent. eg.. 205/45/17 - RM320 a pod, Z-rated. Pretty good. Hard side wall, good drainage capability, and good durability. Quietness would have to come third after comfort, and performance.
No doubt there are other better ones, but in this price range, I don't think there's one that come close to this tire.

The Michelin Pilot Sport 3 is not bad as well compared to the Michelin Primacy 3ST. Both are good in wet and dry conditions. Their durability and wear and tear are equally good. However, I would still recommend Michelin Primacy 3ST as it is very quiet on the road and gives a comfortable ride and it is in a very good quality even though the price is high but it is worth the money.
