Any go-kart kaki here? Love watching F1 and hence sometimes go go-karting in Shah Alam. Those were the days.... if have kaki here, can also arrange for a race!!! ;)

Shah alam, Sunway extreme park, Port Dickson, but need a group of minimum 8 for a go, otherwise need to wait for others to join in a group :Blue:

Did it once overseas and once in Sepang.
Totally hooked!
Only problem is no kaki to join, since now MWF has some i'll let you guys organize one session.
Last round i drove, wore my G-shock.

Am not into go-karting but judging from this thread, I counted 5 or 6 members who are keen on go karting.
(ancs88, siodee, watchmanu, takashi, chris)
Maybe the TS can organise one go-kart session for MWF members, once the quorom of 8 pax is met.

Nope, just that depend on weekday or weekend, if nobody queue up, even you are alone, they still let you go, cause Business ma, unless weekend or public holiday, then they are very strict. We can try Sunway :Dancing_banana:

The Shah Alam track is very nice, flat and lots of interesting turns!

We can do the Shah Alam track, just next to the "Sea Hum" Stadium, I think is like RM35 for 10min. If go for 100cc, then different price tag, more expensive. What do you guys think???

We will have the Go-kart at Shah Alam then. I will create a session there after this coming Sunday Charity run, so not confusing members for different activities. ;D

You can use those gym, motorbike glove. If you have helmet is better, otherwise they will provide those smelly helmet with shower cap :Laughing_on_floor:

You can get those gloves at Jusco or Carrefour or Tesco under sports section. They do sell gym gloves as well as motorcycle gloves. Else the motorcycle shop which sells accesories.

The only time i went karting in Msia at Sepang, 3rd session my friend borrowed me cycling gloves.
TOTALLY useless! LOL...slippery as hell....no grip at all...made it even harder to steer.
Last few laps i totally no more energy.

i use to bring my own motorcycle fullface helmet.... no glove!!!

I would suggest morning first slot haha....if not getting hot as hell.

Shah Alam track is tough one ... i am really keen to try the 100cc, the 125cc no kick (i think the 125cc is slower than 100cc).
Tracks are full of pebbles, expensive watch not recommended ...
I think I should be able to join, getting my karting gloves as well with takashi. :Cheers:

Spoke to the gang this morning we aim for coming Sat and 10am session.

90 include briefing and intervals la .. actual time on track maybe less than 25 mins :P

Had GREAT fun today :Dancing_banana:, the 2-stroke 100c karts is really world of difference compared to the 4-stroke. Acceleration is crazy. Towards the end my neck muscle starting to give way.....
For those who wanna go to this track i highly recommend it for now. ALL their karts are brand new only 1month old. When we went today they still applying on the stickers for the karts.

Go kart is good at shah alam which i tried the first one.. Looking forward for an indoor style.. Any recommendation? 8) 8)

been karting at City Karting Shah Alam all these while. The karts might not be in the best of conditions but the track is not too bad. Gave blastacars a go, not a fan of drift karts
