This is a vintage Cellini from 1975.
Its casing is Rolex 18k yellow gold ribbed in rectangular shape with a size of 24mm x 33mm. Hooded lugs. Its movement is 1601 handwind. 19800 beats per hour.
It's still having its original Rolex acrylic crystal.

According to Rolex authorized repairer checking with Rolex Service Center on my watch data.

This special Golden Eye range of Cellini only has 75 pieces sold worldwide during 1970-1975. There were 3 pieces sold through Singapore authorized dealer. Mine was one of them.

Its got 4 colors: red, orange, blue, and champagne . The dial is specially coated a layer of glass to enable the dial color changes at different angles and to prevent dial from discoloration.

Before it got serviced it had below problems:
1. Dirty dial with dust and fiber residual.
2. The crystal glass edge on the right was not installed properly by previous repairer till there was a gap couldn't be closed (the root cause of dust and fiber got into the dial).
3. Power reserve is too short at 27 hours after full wind.

Here are the old photos before service.

After service all problems resolved:
1. The damage balance wheel was replaced with new part.
2. The shorten and bended hairsprings that was rewound and put in by previous repairer (in which was not a correct way), is now replaced with a new one. Power reserve now get back to 43 hours.
3. Crystal glass gap was closed, dial is cleaned.
4. Gold casing was repolished.
5. Vertical position accuracy is + 0.37 seconds per day. Horizontal position accuracy is +0.01 seconds per day.

Here are the photos.

Congrats. A nice watch indeed, not something you see everyday. Wear it with good health.

Hi  @TheHobbit   bro.  Thanks.

It's my first vintage watch hunt and certainly it is not the last. I will keep hunting them.

Nice. The dial remind me of Moser and subsequently G.O's attempt on doing this type of graduation in color.
All returning to the past for inspiration. Lovely piece you have there.

Hi @RolexthatFit

Yes, your advice is heard. I fully.

Here are the pictures that I successfully restored its original beauty with its original strap.

The strap is thin, tough with very fine and shinny finishing surface.

Found its cousin and had it fully serviced.

The blue dial is lacquered with watery effect. It makes hands like floating on the water.

Yes, @FengYuTong bro.

Just checked the blue dial price in Chrono24, it's now at a whopping MYR34k

This type of ribbed 18k solid gold Cellini 4016 total quantity is only 75 pieces after all.

To be one of 75 to own it, and two pieces at that. Great collection you have there man!
