Title: This just IN
Post by: GlennTanChiaChiah on February 24, 2011, 02:08:18 PM
(http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/9168/24022011100.jpg)

Model: Seiko SKX007J

Calibre: Seiko 7S26 21 Jewels

Date: Yes (day-date window at 3 o'clock position)

Diameter: 42mm w/o crown

Lug-Width: 22mm

Construction: All stainless-steel case, caseback and bezel

Crystal: Flat-profile Hardlex glass

Crown: Screw-in (4 o'clock position)

Bezel: Unidirectional (Counter-clockwise)

Water Resistance: Yes (Diver's 200m)

Movement and case both Made in Japan as this is the J series model. I believe it's 'twin' brother, the K series has it's casing Made in China and movement Made in Malaysia/Singapore.

Silicone-rubber Seiko Z-22 strap that came with the watch could've been better and unscrewing and screwing the crown left much to be desired; but hey, this ain't no Submariner.

The must-do wrist shot.

Cheers.

Its no submariner, but a Seiko is still unbeatable value. With the money u "saved" , u could probably buy a used kancil ;D
