I like the words round the edge of the dial,makes it look "professional"
Great watch,but than again I have a soft spot for Rolexs as it's my first "real watch" :thumbsup:

I think the words are tacky. Would have been better on the caseback as we don't need to see it all the time. Maybe Rolex needed something to fill that large ring of emptiness...

I think that the words were purposely put there to differentiate it from the rest of the submariner range.

The wording on the ring is not really obvious when you wearing it and look from distance.
When taking picture, somehow it looks big and bold...
