I think the Thread Title is not very CORRECT to begin with. These golfing pros don't wear watches while playing golf. They only wear watches at price giving ceremonies as TOLD by their sport agents repectively. They are paid heaps of dollars to wear them in publicity stunts.

So I think a much more suitable title will be, "Watches (Watch Brands) Endosed by Pro Golfers".

(Phil Mickenson is the rare one that wears his Rolex during tournament play.)

I heard from a watch SA that wearing your automatic watches while playing Golf will course your watch to shock and easily damage the watch movement. Any idea if this is true???  ???

never thought of it but i think it will, depending on which type of movements i guess, just think of the complications in the watch used.
if's it diver-like built, i'm sure they can take a beating, if a dress watch, i wouldn't wear it for golf.

just my new 10 sen.
