Correct me if I'm wrong but I'd wager that this is almost certainly lacquered blue, if not chemically dyed blue.Most definitely not heat blued as heat blued colour is deep and lustrous. Heat blued hands are time consuming and costly to undertake.

The price of the watch was less than RM500. We'll be lucky if they did not use BUNCHO poster colour.
