Title: Even entering bookshop is dangerous for us watch lovers
Post by: takashi78 on September 08, 2010, 02:50:56 PM
Went to Kinokuniya at KLCC today and this is what i end up with, been eyeing it for quite some time but lazy to order online.
Was going to see if they have any book by George Daniels as well but no.
Both book combined cost me a Laco Pilot :P
Some quick shoots using my phone of the content inside, you guys should really check it out if you see it at the bookstore.
Only thing i dont like is that "12 faces of time" is all in black & white only :-[, for the price paid it should come with color :Scolding:

I think no intro needed for the pics of the masters, all are among the best living watchmakers now.

Does anyone else have books on watches? Not counting catalog and magazines.

Wow, sadly, I won't spend so much on books.  ;D
My most expensive watch book is Speedmaster book which cost me RM100.
But one thing positive, books are entitle to tax deduction

Couldnt help, was sorta a impulse buy.
Gives me motivation to one day have something by one of the masters.
One pic of the author and some of the watchmakers featured in her book.

My Speedy book. I think the book was given free during 1994 for Apollo II 25th anniversary limited edition.

Why buy when you can google to read stuffs like that......save $$ for a new watch, at least a G-shock, entry level.

What say you??
