The BALL Engineer Hydrocarbon AeroGMT has a whopping 43 tritium tubes. Not only on the dial (18 tubes) but for the first time ever, Ball has applied tritium gas tubes to the numbers on the GMT bezel (25 tubes). I like Ball EHC series too.
-
do u find Ball hydrocarbon series heavy ? and potruding crown ? is heavy like Breitling..
-
Due to way the series in constructed, the downside is the weight. Nevertheless, IMHO is not excessive.
To eliminate the problem of pinching by the protruding crown, it is important that the watch is worn snug to the wrist. If you prefer to wear the watch loose you may be faced with that problem as it is a heavy timepiece and will shift rather vigorously if not fit properly.

For Ball EHC watch, i normally wear it tight and allow the watch hug nicely to my wrist. Then twist your wrist to ensure the crown guard is not making your wrist uncomfortable. Here are mine photos.

this look good

Ball is a good solid watch however i find my hydrocarbon spacemaster glow top heavy on my wrist. To prevent it from sagging on my wrist I have to wear it tight which can be quite uncomfortable on hotter days. Having said that I like the stormchaser pro case for its slimness compared to other models and its design too.
