Post by: chrisyen on August 29, 2010, 09:02:30 PM

i was thinking to test my ball tmt working well and accurate

so i put it into my fridge....

but then i forgot about it when my bb wake up.....

1 hour later

there u go

a frozen ball
(http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o210/yenfoolun/ball%20engineer%20hydrocarbon%20tmt%20ti%20le/IMG_1785.jpg)

-15 degree c... still running
(http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o210/yenfoolun/ball%20engineer%20hydrocarbon%20tmt%20ti%20le/IMG_1789.jpg)

cant see it right? nah...

this is in normal room temperature for your comparison

the test tells

1. ball -40 endurance, the special oil is working below zero degree
2. the mechanical thermometer is working well

WOW.. Glad you did not do it. If you notice on ball website. Spacemaster does not have the low temp lubricant comapred to other watch like Mad cow or the TMT.  :P

I was only half joking...I think a watch magazine did conduct these tests on a ball hydrocarbon and it passed.

Watch magazine won't conduct any test but take the best angle of the watch n show up in it's prime page if the watch company pay them well

but ball did test it watches for shock, etc

Not 100% agreed :D Some HK and Japan mag they really do detail test and comparison... those mag publish by HG or Sincere or any other watch shop usually are not provide much details...

Just Curious...
besides the fact that the movement of the watch is doing ok, everything is still ok as well especially the appearance (no water in the inner case and etc)?
Really salute you for putting your own watch to such test
I treat my watch like my baby. HAHAHA
