Everyday GADA Wristwatch for RM12,000
« on: May 30, 2020, 08:39:16 PM »
Hi Guys, hope all of you are doing well. I’m a long time lurker and first time thread starter here.

I was wondering if you could help me pick a “go anywhere, do anything” wrist watch for my daily wear which should have at least 100m WR and a screw down crown. I have a 6.5inch wrist and have worn watches from 38mm-42mm.

I’m leaning towards dressy sports watches not exceeding 40mm.

Currently I’m contemplating a Tudor BB36 in either blue or black dial.

Are there any other choices at that price point?

Thank you for your help!

Your Tudor BB is a very good choice already for this price point.

Unless you need something more unique in design or functionality. Eg. moonphase, compass, Gerald Genta design...etc

You have just picked one of the best for that price, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Sounds great! Thanks for the words of encouragement! I’ll get a Bb36 and subsequently a Nomos Club 36 next. Saw the Nomos Club 38 and liked it better but lug to lug on the 36 is much better proportioned.

I agree...Nomos tend to have a longer lugs which makes the watch rather “tricky” to wear due to the chance of a possible “overhang”.

You could get a BB58 if you add another 2k for the bracelet one and cheaper for a nato or leather strap. It's good all rounder fits for all occasion.
