Tough one to decide man. The tempting of getting new watch is always there.

I think it always starts with one. But the deeper you get, we eventually justify the additional piece and by no time you’ll be ordering your 12 watch box case
Hahaha
I like lots of watches but can only afford a few

If I have 40k, I would get a pre owned Explorer 2 polar (16750) and a BB58.  That's a two watch collection that will cover outdoor/travelling activities (with GMT function) and a dress cum diver @toolish watch in BB58.

Bb58 is nice. I would love to buy the harrods edition . I think having tok many watches also is not good. Rather spend the 40k for 1 nice bbharrods & a panerai

Given a choice of RM 40K, would you stretch all the budget for one watch (let’s say Rolex) or get multiple watches (tudor,Oris, tag,& etc)

Looking forward to hear your views! Thank you

Are you saying Tudor, Oris and Tag Heuer are not quality watches?

You would eventually need a daily beater (Casio/ Seiko), a dress watch (be it stainless steel or precious metal, with leather strap and thin profile), a diver (date or non-date), a rather casual watch (like GS Snowflake/ Rolex Explorer), a travel watch (GMT or Pilot watch), a chronograph watch, sometime you might wanna try out digital watch (smart watch) or quartz watch (can be just as expensive and luxurious like the others Swiss Made counterparts).

That being said I only use "a", you could probably own two divers or even more watches within same categories.

Conclusion, you still think one is enough?  ;D
