guess too much of tea just now before the midnite movie.... i can't get to sleep 'til now!!
so, got nothing better else to do, took the ricoh cx3 i just purchased yesterday... and play around with its features.
pics speaks its soul, all pics taken with ISO1600, no touch up but resized.
some on the Longines Legend Diver,
blur effect were nicely applied using the miniature mode... size of the blur area, forcus area all adjustable.
the detail of LLD's dial, the lacquer... and the reflection of the dome sapphire glass...
here's the strength of Ricoh's make, untouched high constrast BW pic... one of its kind.
some on the Citizen Flieger JDM i got it in japan months back,
lume shot of the GS, i just figured out the hour and minute hands... check the lumed area... see how seiko applied lumibrite on them... the entire lumed area crossing thru the hands from front to back! (see the reflection of its lume on the dial)
overall, a great compact camera... back-illuminated cmos sensor in a compact body, using latest GXR base module, crispy clear 3" LCD display (lovely screen, it's even better than my G11), 28-300m zooming range (which i seldom do zooming...) and very intuitive n customizable function keys (i like the most since GRD!), bought it as to replace my GRD which acting up lately... (i know they play in different league in term of marketing positioning/lens quality, but budget as constraint... CX3 is well fit to my needs as of now)
i've been using couple of brand on digicam (fuji, panasonic w/leica, nikon, canon and ricoh), still find ricoh's colors and pixels rendering fit my liking, quite rare to find ricoh users in Malaysia (all flooded with nikon n canon make)... but very common in japan.
thanks for looking, just something *rare* to share, atleast u get to know additional choice when getting a new camera.
