the left hand crown is the most cost effective for Tudor, because they flip the case 180 degree from right hand to left hand position, wala...new case.

I think there's more to it than that.  Maybe a sifu here can tell us better, but I wonder what direction the crown will wind?   They also have to re-arrange where the date wheel sits relative to the movement don't they?

for movement definitely needed some tweaking

as for the case, the way i look at it, same case just different assembly position

the only tweak they probably have to make is just to print existing dials upside down, so as to accomodate the dial feet positions when the movement is flipped.
everything else remains the same :P

winding should still be the same if u have the crown on the right side.
as date wheel is in a circle, it always reads the right way up on the right side also...
now if the date was on the left side, then there would be obvious need for a new date wheel.
