Heya peeps,
I've just recently got into watches. I'd probably label myself as an enthusiast.
I've always been the kinda guy who appreciates things for its value, effort and workmanship (like a well-made bespoke suit) and I guess that's how my interest in all things horological started. I appreciate the skill and intricacy that goes into great watches, from the humble little guys like digital casios, seikos and citizens, all the way up to the big boys like IWC, Rolex, Zenith, Jaeger etc.
What also snagged my attention was the difference between 'real' watches over fashion watches.
I never really put much thought into what goes into the likes of Daniel Wellingtons over say, a Seiko 5,
and then after doing a bit of research, my eyes opened.
Gonna be honest - I came across this forum looking for second hand watches to buy in Malaysia. Kinda glad I stumbled upon this place.
My prized possessions I currently own:
Omega SMD 300 blue ceramic (my first entry level)
Seiko snkl23
Seiko Flightmaster SNA411
Tissot Le Locle
Casio G-Shock GLS 8900AR
Citizen JN5000
Grail watches:
Rolex GMT Master II (black bezel, greens GMT hand)
Breitling Navitimer 01 43mm (I'll probably wait for a limited edition one that I won't be able to resist)
Hoping my passion and knowledge in the world of horology continues to grow, and I'll never be a watch snob
Cheers!
