Optimum setting for a Watch Winder

Dear sifus,

I had received a Watch Winder from my colleagues as a birthday gift, and being a complete noob in watches, waz wondering, which of the following settings should i set my winder :

1. 6 mins clockwise, rest 30 mins and re-cycles ;
2. 6 mins counter-clockwise, rest 30 mins and re-cycles ;
3. 20 mins counter-clockwise, rest 10 mins, 20 mins clockwise, rest 10 mins and re-cycles ;
4. 10 minutes clockwise, 10 minutes counter-clockwise repeated over 3 hours and rest 9 hours and re-cycles ;
5. Off.....

Generally, my watches are all ETA based, with a coming EXP I soon  (hopefully)...

I know watches have d clutch that prevents a watch being "over wound", however, read from somewhere that it MAY still damage the clutch if it is being "over wound" for too long...
