Was a bit surprised to see the Sub 114060 already available at my friendly neighbourhood AD. Did a quick comparison with my 116610 and apart from the blindingly obvious (non-presence of the date), couldn't make any discerning difference between the two. Would pass I guess, at least until my 116610 is passed on ...

All 14060M comes with pin hole even for last series.

Manburg , inner chapter ring is the engrave inner side of your watch . Older ones are without .. pin hole is the side case with hole on the lugs

Yes... All 14060 have pin holes because they are clearing the old 16610 case stocks... That's what I being told...

Well, no wonder I was puzzled. I called it the rehaut engraving, and the pin holes as lug holes. Never mind, we learn new things everyday. Dennis, 14060M has always had the lug holes until its demise.

No, 14060 and 16610 cases are not the same. Even the bezel sizes are different

That's correct. 14060/14060M is 39.5, whereas 16610 is 40. It wouldn't appear as such on naked eyes, but it's been confirmed in a few discussions that I saw. I'm certain thst the case thickness is also not similar.
